In Loving Memory of Jaime Sousa

May 14, 1973 - February 3, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Jaime Sousa from Central Falls, RI, who left this world at the age of 51. A man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and a kind heart, Jaime was known for his impeccable work ethic and his ability to find joy in life's simplest moments.

Hardworking by nature, he took great pride in everything he did, especially in his passion for recycling metal. Jaime was employed by Ferreira's Concrete Forms for the past 12 years. When he was not working, he embraced the beauty of nature through his favorite pastimes. He cherished camping trips, fishing, and visiting the ocean, where he found joy in digging for clams and taking long walks along the shore.

Despite his love for nature's adventures, Jaime found his greatest comfort in solitude, relaxing at home and enjoying the serenity of his own space. He was a gentle, kindhearted soul who asked for little and gave so much, touching the lives of those around him with quiet compassion and a steady presence.

Jaime is survived by his mother, Elvira Alves; his siblings, Marco DeSousa, Valter DeSousa, Maria Sousa Guedes, Neliy Sousa and; his many beloved nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife and best friend, Alicia Foran, along with her three sons, Mark, Andrew, and Christopher. He is now reunited with his father, Jaime DeSousa, and his brother, Mario Sousa, who passed before him.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, Jaime will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May his memory continue to bring comfort and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His funeral will be Saturday, February 8th from the Keefe Funeral Home starting at 9am followed by a funeral home service at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
